Milla's class is my favorite hour of the week. 

Her class is a wonderful stress reliever and especially needed during our current situation. You will walk away from her class feeling refreshed and renewed.

I love Milla’s yoga classes. It’s a comfortable environment in which you can feel completely relaxed and focus on yourself. I am continually impressed with Milla’s knowledge, warmth and ability to put everyone at ease. I would definitely recommend!

 

When I joined Milla's yoga classes, I was bit nervous at first as had tried previous yoga instructors and it wasn't right for me. I emailed her first and she responded immediately and was so kind and explained everything to me. I joined my first yin yoga class and I felt immediately at ease, she shows you how to use blocks and a bolster and straps if needed. She takes you step by step through the poses and stretches and teaches you to listen to your body and over time I have found my flexibility has increased which for this 55 year old woman feels like a miracle.

YOGA WITH MILLA

I was qualified as a yoga teacher in 2018 by the World Yoga Alliance. I teach hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga. In hatha and vinyasa, incorporating your breath to the movement is important in connecting your mind and body.

 

My personal favourite to teach is restorative hatha yoga which focuses more on flexibility, stretching and recovering rather than strength or cardio. I offer mostly beginner-friendly exercises throughout the class as well as some intermediate moves for those who may want to challenge themselves further. 

Mental health is an important aspect in my practice and teaching, as I too have (had) my own struggles with depression and anxiety. This is one of the reasons the classes I tend to teach are slower in pace and focus on calming the mind. Yoga has definitely given me a confidence boost and allowed me to test my own limits while still respecting my comfort zone.


It is my priority to both maintain and advance your health. I feel that respecting your body with all of its limitations is very important. Some physical conditions such as diabetes, low/high blood pressure may require a variation to be suitable for you. Please email or message me in advance to give me a chance to treat the information as discreetly as possible and considering this when I plan the lesson.

I was first interested when my grandson asked me to do some yoga poses with him (downward dog finish with a tree pose which is one of his many favourite poses) so when the opportunity came to join Milla's class, I was intrigued to what yoga was about. I did not realise how great I would feel spiritually, mentally and physically. For me is an opportunity to connect with my soul, after class I feel I can breathe properly and I am spiritually energised.
