Yoga is often seen as a physical exercise solely, but the body and the mind work together seamlessly.
This gentle and therapeutic yoga class targets the common problem areas of neck, shoulders and back and helps to correct your posture. Practicing a combination of mind-body skills increases the effectiveness of pain relief and relieves both physical and the linked emotional pain.
Pain is typically seen as a sign of injury but just like physical pain, emotional pain can also spread to other areas, or even persists once the triggering source is fully healed. In the end, it's in your head which means pain can play mind games with you. Changing the way you think and interpret pain can alter the experience of it.
This can be the start of your journey to recovery - wherever the pain may stem from.
The class is suitable for all abilities. However, if you have any medical condition or physical limitations, please contact me prior to the class. £8/person (includes a yoga mat and other required equipment)
